SVK Group Purchased Stationary Supplies for the Children from Low-Income Families for the Total of Over 300 Thousand Tenge
These presents that are important just before the school year were received by the orphans and children deprived of parents’ care as the part of the charity campaign.
A traditional “Way to School” State charity campaign was held in the School no. 8. The main goal of the campaign is helping children from socially disadvantaged families, as the Ustinka Live’s reporter states.
The lists of the students that need the support are prepared well in advance and given to the sponsors. The major philanthropist of this school, the deputy of the city Maslikhat, Sergey Korotin, personally visited the school and gave 20 new backpacks with stationary supplies to the children.
“Dear kids, parents, and teachers! We were just given a tour around the school and saw how it revived, how bright and beautiful it became. It will certainly inspire you and make you want to go to school,” Sergey Viktorovich appealed to them. “I would like to wish the kids to feel here at home and wish that happiness is always with them. Do not look up to bad people and do not try to live up to them. Always live with the good being the only driving source of yours.
It should be noted that Mr. Korotin plays active role in the school’s life every year and keeps supporting it.
“This is the first time I participate in the event,” says the 7th grade student Anzhela Karpach. “I do not have anybody else except for my Mom, and we are used to count on ourselves and nobody else. Now I see that there are other people that care about me. It feels really good. Thank you so much!
Apart from the school students, the deputy of the city Maslikhat also takes care of younger children. Stationary supplies for the new school year for the total of 306,108 Tenge were purchased for the students of the Educational Center for the Children with Developmental Disabilities.
