For the first time in the central city of the region, a classroom for self-discovery opened in the Secondary School no. 15 was officially named after the renowned sponsor of the region and the deputy of the city Maslikhat Sergey Korotin. It is no accident the philanthropist was honored by the grateful teachers and students as his good deeds allow thousands of children to study with comfort and have only good memories of the school time.
After the cutting of the ceremonial ribbon and traditional ritual Shashu, the classroom equipped according to the latest standards wad presented to the guests of the school, along with the video about the achievements the school had accomplished after the deputy of the Maslikhat had taken it under his wing.
“Congratulations to all on the beginning of the school year that starts in such a positive spirit!” greeted the audience Anargul Bekturgeneva, the Principal of the School. “Sergey Viktorovich helps us all the time and never says no! We are extremely grateful and wish him long healthy life and prosperity!”
With the audience burst into applause, Sergey Korotin received the certificate that will decorate his office along with many other honors. It is worth noting that this celebration became especially important and memorable for the member of the city Maslikhat.
“My heart is thrilled. It is all very emotional. This is such a great honor for me as I studied in the School no. 15, too. It used to be located right behind the Snezhinka store,” the philanthropist shared. “On the one hand, I feel a little awkward; on the other hand, I am proud to realize that such classroom was opened in this school and children can come in here to self-discover and gain knowledge. I am grateful to the teachers of the school for starting the new school year in a great mood. The noise that children will create, the worries, and most importantly the quality education are awaiting for you. To raise a true character, to see good and kind in people – that is the mission of a teacher. Good luck in your hard but such an important job.”
By the way, the spacious classroom with a comfortable zone for private lessons, a beamer, round table, and racks will be used by special needs children from the Ak Niet Boarding School, too. And in the end of the week, a Republic workshop will be held here for the teachers on the topic of working with “special” school students.
