On June 1, Themed Celebration of the Children’s Day Will Take Place in Imperator Shopping Mall

On the Children’s Day, Ust-Kamenogorsk prepared many entertainment events and surprises for little residents of the city.

On June 1, from 12:00 to 16:00, Imperator Mall gives a real celebration of a childhood and unforgettable memories to all boys and girls. The theme of the party is “The Wizard of the Emerald City” fairy tale.

Children of age 5 to 12 will have the chance to participate in the quest with the same title. Young guests will meet Ellie and her pet Totoshka, as well as the villain Gingema. Together with the fairy tale characters, kids will have to pass many tasks and contests to get out of the magical world and save Ellie’s friend… Right next to the entrance to the Mall, a unique set of books based on the tales of Alexander Volkov will be displayed. From 12:00 to 14:00, children will have the opportunity to ride a pony. Next to the Mall, a fashion show with clothes and shoes provided by the shops of the Mall will start at 12:00.

The guests of the party will be able to participate in the contest of the pencil drawings to the story of the famous fairy tale “The Wizard of the Emerald City” organized by Ustinka Plus newspaper. The works of the contestants will be published in the newspaper and on their website: ustinka.kz. The results of the contest will be finalized at 16:00 (children will be provided with pencils and paper).

Apart from that, people will participate in educational workshops on the premises of the Mall organized by KIDDYBOOM educational toys store, Montessori Center of Intellectual and Creative Development, and DESSERT Company (children will be taught how to draw on gingerbread). There will also be a Crafts Fair for the boys and girls with the crafts by the artists of the ART MARKET. Representatives of Mother’s Home will talk to potential parents and consult them on adoption, custody, and patronage and have psychological workshops for them.

The same day, a grand music parade will pass on the streets of Ust-Kamenogorsk. Around three thousand people will participate in the event. Almost every neighborhood will provide columns of 100 people. People will start gathering in Astana Street at 10:30. The parade will follow to Ordzhonikidze Street and towards the Respublika Square where it will be finished at 12.30.
