In Ust-Kamenogorsk, the residents of Mirniy neighborhood received bread for free. Oreol Primary Party Organization participated in the charity campaign on handing out socially important product. This is how the members of the Nur Otan Party wanted to support residents of the city with low-income.
In Produktoviy store located on Revolutsionnaya Street, a large number of people lined up to get free bread. Vladimir Zakharov, a senior citizen, who has been buying bread here for over half a century, says that this is the first time he receives this product for free. According to the organizers of the campaign, they handed out hundred loaves of bread to the people in need.
“This is such a great idea! This neighborhood is mainly populated by retired people,” says Vladimir Zakharov. “Retirement payment is not big and it is not enough for everything that we need.
“We focused on retired people, disabled people, single mothers, and low-income families to support socially and economically disadvantages groups of the community,” explains Galina Andreyeva, the Assistant of Sergey Korotin, the deputy of the city Maslikhat.
